Best Oscar Moment: 2011

James Franco appeared bored and high and as a result Anne Hathaway over compensated by being way too Disney like.

And the Oscars just dragged on and on.

But there was one moment of 'now that was good'.

Luke Matheny winning for best film short - 'God Of Love'.

Loved his acceptance speech.



And Ricky Gervais...the Oscars so need you to inject some fun, life and sarcasm into their show.

So Bell Biv Devoe reunited last night on 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon'.

Cue squeals of delight. They may be 'old' now but at least they have their matching vests and some of their old dance moves. Word.

Road trip to Boston. Me breaking the key in the car door lock at some random car stop in the middle of nowhere (Vermont I think). Waiting for hours for a replacement key from Roadside Assistance.  This was the song we listened to the entire time.

This song is all about the emotion. One of their best.

When you are emotionally drained - whether it's heartache or you're in a funk or depressed....this song makes you feel it all and then somehow makes you feel better. The power of music and one Mr. Gabriel.


First time this song really got to me was during an episode of Felicity. Damn that show.


Makes me cry every single time.

I loathe this song with everything in me...and the fact that there is a reggae cover version of this song (the fact that an artist thought it was worthy of a cover boggles my mind) makes me dislike it that much more.

The new trio of Italian tenors...Ignazio Boschetto, Piero Barone and Gianluca Ginoble. All teenagers (which will be hard to believe once you hear them sing).


Il Volo Tenorini.  They released their debut album in November (2010) and are now on an international tour.


First time we saw them was on the Italian TV show 'Ti Lascio Una Canzone' back in 2009....
