Boo!

With last night's unexpected blanketing of the city in white stuff by an apparent pissed off Mother Nature, I figured that this collection of Halloween-esque inspired videos would get us back in the mood for tonight's trick or treating.

Hope

“If we amplify everything, we hear nothing. There are terrorists and racists and Stalinists and theocrats. But those titles must be earned. You must have the resume. Not being able to distinguish between real racists and Tea Partiers or real bigots and Juan Williams or Rick Sanchez is an insult, not only to those people but to the racists themselves who have put in the exhausting effort it takes to hate. Just as the inability to distinguish terrorists from Muslims makes us less safe, not more."

If nothing else he gives you hope.

Crash Into Me

My most favourite Dave Matthews Band song covered brilliantly by Boyce Avenue.

"Crash Into Me"

Hollerado

Very cool music video. Epic.

From the band Hollerado: 'This is the "Human 8-bit Video". We wanted to make something cheap and awesome. It was directed by our buddy/chief mad scientist Greg Jardin. It was all shot in one take. It took lots and lots and lots of practice to get it right. A guy in one of the cells also played the serial killer on season 5 of "the wire".'
